This event is one of a series called the OWL talks - part of the Oundle Waste Less project organised by Transition Oundle - which aim to promote discussions about current thinking around the shift towards lower carbon and 'eco' lifestyles. Other topics covered include waste and recycling, food and farming, renewable energy, with more events in the pipeline for 2020.

The OWL project is funded through the National Lottery and East Northamptonshire Resource Management Funds and the OWL talks are sponsored by Nene Living.  The event is free to attend. Doors & bar open at 7pm but please reserve your seat in advance.

Oundle Music School Department in association with BBC Radio Northampton and Oundle International Festival presents

Music in Unexpected Places

Friday, 4th October

Performance: 7:45pm

Tickets: £8 general / free for all pupils

This proved to be one of our most popular concerts when we first aired such an idea three years ago. Now, in conjunction with BBC Radio Northampton and the Oundle Interantional Festival, we're back for another evening of surprises and venues hitherto, perhaps, not even heard of!

We offer a stunning evening as the audience are split into smaller groups and taken in and around Oundle School's buildings and beyond: short historical facts about the buildings are then followed by diverse ensembles and solos from our talented musicians. Might we be able to take you into the unopened new sports Centre, or perform beside the swimming poool, perhaps a House dining room, or the old Tuck Shop of yesteryear? An engaging line-up is assured.
