Nurry Lee is a South Korean pianist who began learning the piano at the age of six and gained her grade 8 distinction piano when she was eleven. She studied at Wells Cathedral School, winning the concerto competition with the Shostakovich Piano Concerto. She now studies at the Royal College of Music and has won many prizes and competitions.
Her recital will include Mozart’s final piano sonata K576, often called ‘The Hunt’ and the Bach-Busoni Chaconne along with music by Stravinsky.

Part of this year’s Big Bach Walk, we invite you to join us on our annual, shorter and more gentle stroll between Cotterstock and Oundle. We are delighted to welcome the great British tenor, John Mark Ainsley, who joins William Whitehead in Cotterstock for this special evening. John Mark, who has appeared with all of the world’s great orchestras and opera companies, will sing songs from the Notebook for Anna Magdalena. At Oundle School Chapel, students on the Oundle for Organists course will sing some of the chorales which inspired Bach. This is sure to be a very special evening and early booking is strongly advised.
Supper tickets include a delicious two-course meal (food only) at Dexter's.
