Oundle Cinema dOCs+ series presents

THE PRICE OF EVERYTHING (12)

Wednesday 20th February (7.30pm)

Fletton House, Oundle

Fletton Way, Glapthorn Rd, PE8 4JA

Director:  Nathaniel Kahn

Released:  2018

Runtime:  1hr 38min

The Price of Everything examines how the work of some artists draws huge multimillion-dollar bids at auction houses while the work of others goes barely noticed, exploring the increasingly blurred lines between creativity and commerce at a time when art has become a commodity traded like stocks, shares or property, and auction prices are skyrocketing.

The film holds a mirror up to our values and our time, where everything can be bought and sold.

‘A documentary for people who like Monet, money or both.’

Charlotte O’Sullivan, London Evening Standard

Post-film Q & A session led by Mike Goldmark and Nigel Harpur from Oundle Arts Society.

Film screened with support from The Arts Society Oundle
