"Grrrr...has your recycling bin recently been 'red-tagged' and you don't know why?  Have you watched documentaries about where our 'recycling' ends up and wondered whether recycling is worth the bother? Do you despair at our wasteful use of resources? Charlotte Tompkins, Waste Services Manager, East Northamptonshire Council will answer all your questions about where the material collected through our waste, food waste and recycling collections goes, contamination issues - what else can/can't we put in our recycling, is recycling the answer or what can we do to be more wastewise.

This event is one of a series called the OWL talks - part of the Oundle Waste Less project organised by Transition Oundle - which aim to promote discussions about current thinking around the shift towards lower carbon and 'eco' lifestyles. Other topics covered include electric vehicles, food and farming, renewable energy, with more events in the pipeline for 2020.

The OWL project is funded through the National Lottery and East Northamptonshire Resource Management Funds and the OWL talks are sponsored by Nene Living.

The event is free to attend. Doors & bar open at 7pm but please reserve your seat in advance.
